Just be yourself. Let people see the real, imperfect, flawed, quirky, beautiful, and, a magical person that you are. No Rain, No Flowers.
1. Smile More Often.
Worry less, smile more. Don’t regret and just learn how to grow. Happy people are always the prettiest. Don’t lose yourself in your fear. The world always looks brighter with a smile. Most smiles are started by another smile. So, be the reason someone smiles today.
2. Recognize And Identify The Beauty In Others.
It’s an open secret that people, naturally, love to talk about themselves. We all live in some vain. We all like it when we are complimented and recognized by others. Similarly, others also like it when they are known for either their beauty, or for their work, or anything. They love to figure out what you like about them. The sign of a beautiful person is that they always see the beauty in others.
3. Give Without The Expectation Of Receiving.
Shouldn’t we just reinstate the idea of sending people letters via post box or mail? Because I believe that all of us get excited when we receive a message that has got nothing to do with owing money to a company or signing up for a credit card. Being a giving person is such an appealing thing and a beautiful feeling altogether.
” We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give “ – Winston Churchill.
4. Stop Talking About Other People.
Being beautiful isn’t just about the things that you can add to your life; it’s also about the things you can get rid of. Do you want to be marked as the ‘gossip person’ around? Never use gossip as a bonding tool. If you want to talk about people to people, talk about good things. Talk about their achievements or accomplishments or the qualities that you like in them. A healthy mind never speaks ill of others. Learn not to say too much.
5. Be Comfortable In Your Skin.
Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your skin. It’s okay to be flawed; everyone is flawed. Learn to accept your flaws gracefully and realize that being imperfect is fascinating. Be as bold as your lipstick. Confidence starts with you, and if you don’t think you’re beautiful, you also won’t believe it when others say you are. No one is going to love you if you don’t love yourself. Loving yourself is the greatest revolution you can ever have.
6. Follow Through.
Nothing annoys anyone more than when you make plans with someone who bails at the last minute. Do you want to be a friend that is stopped from being invited because you failed to stick to your words or failed to follow through? I am sure; the answer would be no. Be reliable; be the person who is there when said will be there. Words are meaningless without intent and follow through.
7. Keep Your Head Up.
Keep your head up, keep your heart healthy. Life is guaranteed to have its ups and downs. Keep your head up even at the worst; because it just shows that you are capable enough of handling the circumstances. WE are strong, aren’t we? No matter how hard it gets, stick your chest out and take care of it. Remember, the struggle you’re in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow.
8. Respect Others’ Opinions.
Respecting others’opinions doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stand up for what you believe in or have a deferential nature. Never judge the choices without understanding the reasons. You obviously can’t be the one instructing someone to have the same opinion as you have. If one is not having the same view as you have, you just can’t kick them out of your life; rather, you can just put forward your views and explain to them what you think. Even the differences teach you a lot; so learn to respect the different opinions one has.
9. Remain Humble.
No matter how big your house is, how new your car is, how big your bank account is, our graves will always be of the same size. We all come to a point in our lives when we ace that test which we have worked so hard for or achieved something for which we sacrificed a major part of our lives or anything of that sort. No one likes a brag. Be humble. Never fail to felicitate other’s achievements and accomplishments.
10. Be Authentic and Beautiful.
Don’t we get attracted to people more when they are faithful to us and not have a hypocritical mind? Don’t we adore people who are true to themselves and others and are real? Be credible in your actions and what you say to others. Always be yourself and never acknowledge the idea of fitting into a stereotype or what people want you to be.
11. Build People Up.
Be someone’s ally and booster. Be someone’s cheerleader. Believe in them and their dreams. The best type of people would be the ones who celebrate your triumphs; regardless of it’s big or small. If I succeed, they succeed too. People love people who adore them, so always remember to build people up and laud their successes.
12. Be Kind To Yourself.
Don’t underestimate and blow yourself up when you make a mistake. We all make mistakes, and that’s how we learn., don’t we?. We all are imperfect, and there’s so much beauty in our imperfections.
