The Tamil Nadu Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) results have been declared. It is done by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) today on May 19. All the candidates can scan and check the same at the website tnresults.nic.in or you can follow the steps which we have given below. More than 7 lakh students appeared for the Tamil Nadu SSLC examination.
The board has conducted the TN SSLC examination from March 8 to March 31 at various test centers across the nation.
Follow these steps to check the results:
• visit the official website of TN Board (tnresults.nic.in) or click on the following link http://tnresults.nic.in/ssma.htm
• Enter your roll number and date of birth
• Click to submit, and your results will be displayed on your computer screen
• Download and take a printout of the result for future reference
Moreover, this year the board has brought a significant change i.e. abolishing the practice of disclosing the toppers’ names. State Education Minister Sengottaiyan said: “The first three ranks will not be announced because students these days are mentally affected even if they lose a mark. So, even parents won’t pressurize students too much. This will make sure that imparting knowledge is the focus of our educational institutes.”
Also, the Tamil Nadu HSC Class 12 results were declared on May 12. The overall pass percentage was 92.1 percent.
