ISRO To Launch Back-up Navigation Satellite IRNSS-1H By August End

ISRO will launch a backup satellite IRNSS-1H: Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is planning to launch its navigation satellite IRNSS-1H by the end of August in order to replace the existing seven satellites of NavIC constellation. ISRO had launched seven satellites, which are:- IRNSS-1G on April 28, 2016 IRNSS-1F (March 10, 2016) IRNSS-1E (January 20, 2016) IRNSS-1D (March 28, 2015) IRNSS-1C (October 16, 2014) IRNSS-1B (April 4, 2014) IRNSS-1A on July 1, 2013. India’s EYE IN THE SKY: ISRO launches it’s workhorse rocket PSLV on June 23

India on Friday, in its multiple satellite launch mission by PSLV, successfully put into orbit it's own earth observation satellite Cartosat, Nano satellite NIUSAT and 29 foreign satellites from 14 countries. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launches the 40th flight of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-380) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), in Sriharikota, Andra Pradesh. The main cargo of the rocket PSLV was India's 712 Kg weighing Cartosat 2 series satellite with a design life of 5 years. The other 30 satellites weighing 243 kg were from 14 countries- Austria, Belgium, Britain, Chile, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and the US and one Indian nano Satellite, NIUSAT.
