The former Indian captain Anil Kumble who served as Indian head coach for slightly over an year has recently stepped down from his position. Reports suggest that he is not touring with the national side to West Indies where the men in blue are to play a 5 match ODI series and a T20 match. However there is no official announcement of the same from BCCI. As per the sources he will not be in run for India's next head coach. “Today was the last day of Anil Kumble’s contract and he does not want to continue further as Indian team’s coach,” said news agency ANI.
