Umesh Yadav is all set to improve bowling line-up of KKR by replacing Ankit Rajpoot in the upcoming match of KKR against Kings XI Punjab.
Yadav missed the previous two matches of KKR because of his right hip and lower back soreness. The match against Kings XI Punjab will be played on April 13 at the home ground of KKR i.e. Kolkata. Also, the opening ceremony will be conducted on this ground on the same day just before the match in which Shraddha Kapoor and Monali Thakur will be performing on their popular songs.
A few hours ago, KKR posted a picture of Umesh Yadav working out in the training camp of Knight Riders. KKR posted “Umesh Yadav is all geared up to make a thumping start in IPL”. While Umesh Yadav tweeted “Ami KKR… First day with my team training time.”
Umesh Yadav’s current season was quite tiresome as he played 12 of the 13 tests. Because of this new-found rhythm, he became India’s third highest wicket-taker behind Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.
In his upcoming match against Kings XI Punjab, this 29-year old cricketer will be replacing Ankit Rajpoot for boosting bowling line-up of Kolkata Knight Riders.
Notably, Chris Lynn aggravated an old injury on his left shoulder in the last match against Mumbai Indians. According to the latest tweet by team CEO Venky Mysore, “All those anxious about Lynn. He aggravated an old injury. Being treated and under observation by KKR team.”
In the erstwhile match of Kolkata Knight Riders against Gujarat Lions on 7th April. Chris Lynn made a tremendous 93 runs from 41 balls for which he was awarded ‘Man of the Match.’ Kolkata Knight Riders downtrodden Gujarat Lions by 10 wickets in this match.
