IPL 10 KXIP vs RPS: Ben Stokes’s ’50’ Fails To Bring Good Fortune For RPS!

IPL 10 Match between Kings XI Punjab and Rising Pune Supergiants at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. Punjab won the toss and chose to bowl first. In this second match of RPS, Punjab won the match by 6 wickets with 6 balls left. IPL 10 KXIP vs RPS Match was an interesting one, where Preity Zinta’s playing XI took the match with storm!

First Innings
Rahane (19) and Mayank (1) took the opening partnership in which Myank was dismissed at 1. The captain Smith (26) contributed along with Ben Strokes (50) to raise the total above century. Ben stokes hit fifty using 32 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. Manoj Tiwari (40) along with Daniel Christian (17) took the responsibility to elevate the total. RPS scored 163 runs by losing 6 wickets.

Sandeep Sharma proved to be most successful bowler from Punjab side taking 2 wickets in total. Axar Patel, T Natarajan, Marcus, Swapnil took 1 wicket each. Axar Patel proved to be most economical bowler in this innings for restricting Rising Pune to a giant total. This left-arm spinner broke the partnership between Ben Stokes and Manoj Tiwari by sending pavilion to the former. After the match, he admitted that confusing the batsman was his major plan.

Second Innings
Hashim Amla (28) and Manan Vohra (14) led the opening partnership for Punjab. After dismissing of Vohra at 14, Saha (14) and Axar Patel (24) took the score above 100. The captain Glenn Maxwell scored the maxium number of runs for his team by scoring a total of 44 runs using 2 fours and 4 sixes. David Miller was not out at 30 runs.

Imran Tahir took 2 wickets while Ashok Dinda, Rahul Chahar succeeded to get at least 1 wicket each. Imran Tahir proved to be most economical bowler in second innings conceding only 29 runs in 4 overs.
