Ekta Kapoor, well known for her highly-profiting soap opera shows also has a list of serials that were flopped. Currently, she is the Joint Managing Director and Creative Director of Balaji Telefilms.

Being the daughter of notable actor Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor, she has produced many successful Indian soap operas including Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasauti Zindagii Kay, Kahin Kissi Roz, Parichay, Pavitra Rishta, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Bade Acche Lagte Hain and much more.

Her production banner has even three subsidiaries which are responsible for productions films, advertisements, etc. The three subsidiaries include Balaji Motion Pictures, ALT Entertainment, BOLT Media Limited.
